This beautifully hand-crafted glass ornament is styled in the traditions of European mouth blown glass. This high quality ornament is an exquisitely detailed work of art that preserve the centuries-old tradition of Polish folk handcraft. Hand-blown and hand decorated by Polish artisans, every ornament is a collector's item inspired by folk traditions representing the Kashubian Male, Kaszub from Pomerania region. Dressed in traditional folk garment, this Kashubian Male figure wears a linen shirt with a decorative collar, one-colored vest (liwka), a dark blue embroidered overcoat (weps) and pale suede pants. The whole outfit is adorned with an elegant silk scarf worn around the neck, a felt hat and knee-high leather boots.

This costume has been worn in the 19th century by peasants from the lands of Pomerania, located in the north of Poland. It stood out from others Polish costumes, because of the use of amber jewellery and various embroidery. Although it has almost completely disappeared at the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to written accounts and paintings, it has been reconstructed and today is still used on the folk song and dance festivals.

Ręcznie wykonana figurka Kaszuba, podtrzymująca tradycję pomorskich strojów i haftów, należy do autorskiej kolekcji Bombkarni.
