Paper cutting, created by the Chinese in the fourth century, dates back to the mid-1800s in Poland. It developed as a traditional folk art of Polish peasants, who hung the decorations on the walls of their homes. While birds and flowers are popular patterns, the repetitions and designs are limited only by the artist's practice, perseverance and imagination. Limited quantities available.
